Dr. Kimesha Coleman, Business Psychologist | Empowerment Speaker | Author

dropout

to doctorate

Dr. Kimesha Coleman is a visionary business psychologist, empowerment speaker, and master storyteller who embodies the rare “It” factor — a catalytic presence that activates, not just inspires. From Dropout to Doctorate, she’s navigated the sacred path of personal disruption and rebellion, using her lived experiences as a blueprint to architect new systems rooted in power, purpose, and liberation.

As the originator of Coleman Theory of Symbiotic Psychological Capital™ (SPC), Dr. Coleman introduces a groundbreaking framework that reimagines how hope, resilience, efficacy, optimism, and symbiosis operate within marginalized identities, particularly among Black women entrepreneurs and leaders. Her research illustrates how psychological strength is not just internal, but co-created through relationships, community, and resistance to systemic erasure.

Fearlessly, Kimesha has addressed diverse audiences, ranging from recent high school graduates at Uplift Preparatory School to incarcerated women at Conch Valley Correctional Facility. Through these speaking engagements, particularly women's empowerment, she not only provides inspiration and hope to survivors but also educates communities about the critical significance of addressing domestic violence and teen dating violence.

She is an Eric Thomas & Associates Certified Speaker. As an expert, Kimesha has appeared on KTXD-TV as the co-host of the Lifestyle segment of the Cynthia Austin Show, featured in Vogue Dallas Magazine,   Dallas Weekly, BBU Magazine, and the CSSJ American Public Health Association Documentary. She has also appeared on The Ladies Lounge Radio Talk Show on KJBN 1050AM, BBS Radio, Shift Your Life podcast, Conversations that Heal podcast, CCNEC/Africa) and many more radio shows.

Mastering Self-esteem by Kimesha Coleman

Kimesha Coleman is an Award-Winning Author hailed by her first book titled He Loves Me Not: Buried Tears of Betrayed Love winning the 2017 Indie Author Legacy Award for Social Awareness. Kimesha vividly portrays the haunting experiences of toxic relationships, the aftermath that leaves individuals shattered, and the transformative journey towards triumph. By openly sharing her story, Kimesha raises awareness, shattering the silence surrounding domestic violence and empowering others to seek help and liberate themselves from abusive situations. She acquired the label of the victim at the age of 7—when she desperately shut her eyes and pretended to sleep with her abuser poised over her. After a series of violent relationships and destructive life patterns, Kimesha decided to write a new story. She cried out to God, and He showed her “The Greatest Love of All”—the need to love herself. Kimesha put on a new identity: courage, tenacity, persistence, and confidence.

Pretty On Pretty Off: The Journey Within
Kimesha is an overcomer of abuse and a courageous writer of her kind, publishing her latest Pretty On Pretty Off book, which eludes an internal fight of mental captivity ensemble by a groundbreaking victory of self-love and mastery.

From Overgiving to Overflowing: Your Self-Esteem and Relationship Healing Starts Here

I know what it’s like to lose yourself in the cycle of codependency, to give and give until there’s nothing left for you. I once lived in the shadows of low self-worth, lacking self-esteem tools, overextending myself in toxic relationships, confusing self-sacrifice for love and silence for peace. The result? Isolation, burnout, and a profound disconnect from who I truly was.

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone and you don’t have to stay stuck.

As your self-esteem and relationship coach, I help high-achieving women like you untangle from the emotional contracts that have kept you overcommitted, underappreciated, and unseen. My coaching isn’t just theory — it’s lived experience backed by tools that work.

My past was a distorted portrait of attachment and responsibility, one where I constantly put others first, mistaking overgiving for worthiness. But healing taught me this: confidence is not arrogance. Boundaries are not rejection. And self-love is not selfish.

Today, I coach women who are ready to rewrite their narratives, set powerful boundaries, and empower them with self-esteem and self-love techniques that are grounded confidence in life, love, and leadership.

You don’t have to earn your worth. You are worthy.

If any part of this spoke to your heart, it’s time to take the next step. I’ve created a quick, confidential self-assessment to help you identify areas where you may be overgiving, underrecognizing your worth, or stuck in relationship patterns that no longer serve you.

This isn’t just about checking boxes; it’s about gaining clarity on how you present yourself in relationships (with others and yourself) and what needs to change.
